Culture, identity and academic excellence

Who We Are

Escuela Argentina de Washington, DC is a private, non-profit educational institution that has been bringing the Argentine language and culture to families across the metropolitan area since September 20, 1969. Our complementary curriculum focuses on Spanish, literature and social sciences, with an emphasis on Argentine history and geography.

What began with ten children in the Oval Room of the Argentine Embassy now brings together more than 400 students every Saturday, from preschool through secondary school and AP courses. Since 1972, our programs have been officially recognized by the Argentine Ministry of Education.
